About Baraaro
BARAARO CENTER for Socioeconomic and Development Research was founded in Somalia as an independent, non-profit research and capacity building center in 2023.The foundation of the center resulted from the dire need for an independent research and policy analysis in socioeconomic landscape in Somalia and the huge skill shortage in the public institutions working in the socioeconomic and development sectors.
